Summary
- Park hours adjusted to later closing times due to guest feedback.
- New merchandise and character experiences launched for the anniversary.
- Future nighttime spectaculars and Celestial Park upgrades are planned.
Universal Orlando's Epic Universe is marking its first year with significant adjustments to park hours, extending operations into the evening in response to guest suggestions. Initially opening early and closing in the early evening, the park now opens around 10 a.m. and remains open until 9 p.m. or 10 p.m. on select dates, a change driven by feedback about the unique nighttime experience.
This adjustment allows guests to fully enjoy attractions like Stardust Racers after dark and experience the 'seven million lights' of Celestial Park. Future developments are already underway, with plans for enhanced nighttime spectaculars and potential upgrades to Celestial Park being considered for 2027 and beyond.
In addition to extended hours, the park has introduced new merchandise, including special power bands for Super Nintendo World, and a character experience featuring Captain Cacao. Further announcements regarding a mysterious attraction behind the Ministry of Magic and potential public access to Celestial Park dining are anticipated within the next year.
