Arjun Verma, the lead actor of the TV show Paro Sang Dev, has taken an extraordinary path from being an engineering student in Punjab to becoming a rising star on the small screen. Just last year, in May 2023, Verma made his debut in the Punjabi serial Dildariyan, playing a parallel lead role. He later went on to bag the lead in another Punjabi show, Gal Mithi Mithi, and several music videos.
Determined to pursue his passion for acting, Verma quit his job after completing his BTech in Electronics and Communication from NIT Jalandhar. He then auditioned for the lead role in Paro Sang Dev and landed the part, marking his Hindi TV debut. Verma admits the pace of Mumbai took some adjusting, but the city has treated him well.
As for his character Dev, Verma feels a personal connection, as he too is very attached to his parents, just like the on-screen persona. "Dev is very attached to his parents, and so am I. That's why the character feels close to my heart," he shares.
