Bhascker revealed that Sushanth's involvement was uncertain from the outset. The director described his initial reaction as anger and disappointment upon learning Sushanth wished to dedicate himself fully to his father's business, a decision Bhascker ultimately respected, acknowledging individual life journeys.
Despite this change, Bhascker affirmed his commitment to telling the story. Srikanth Maganti will now embody the character Karthik, previously played by Sushanth. Bhascker expressed confidence in maintaining the character's essence, assuring audiences they would still see Karthik onscreen.
