Hashmi's Awarapan 2 Shatters Records: Biggest Opening Ever!

Emraan Hashmi has set a new career milestone with Awarapan 2, which has recorded the highest opening weekend gross for any of his films. The action entertainer garnered an impressive Rs. 81.89 crore over its debut weekend. This figure dramatically outperforms his previous best, Baadshaho, which had collected Rs. 43.30 crore. Awarapan 2's opening weekend earnings represent an increase of Rs. 38.59 crore, nearly doubling the previous record.

The film's success is attributed to the strong recall of the Awarapan franchise and Emraan Hashmi's popular action image. This combination has evidently resonated with audiences, translating into a significant theatrical draw. The substantial gap between Awarapan 2's opening weekend and the rest of Hashmi's filmography underscores the magnitude of this achievement, setting a high benchmark for future releases.
