14 Oct
Summary
- Emraan Hashmi narrowly escaped a dangerous car stunt.
- A vehicle flipped and crashed near the actor's face.
- This is the second reported trouble during the film's shoot.
Actor Emraan Hashmi experienced a narrow escape while filming a dangerous car-flip stunt for his upcoming movie, Gunmaaster G9. A behind-the-scenes video captured a car, suspended by a crane, flipping mid-air before crashing onto a van positioned below. The incident occurred perilously close to Hashmi's face, raising concerns about safety protocols on set.
This is not the first issue to plague the production of Gunmaaster G9. Previously, a shooting schedule in Haridwar faced public outcry when locals mistook a film set for a bar. Producer Deepak Mukut addressed the situation, emphasizing respect for local sentiments and adherence to rules.
Gunmaaster G9, directed by Aditya Datt, stars Emraan Hashmi alongside Genelia D'Souza, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Singh. It is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 27, 2026. No injuries were reported from the recent stunt accident, and the filmmakers have not yet issued a statement clarifying whether the event was a planned part of the shot.
