On Wednesday, two individuals achieved a remarkable feat by climbing to the summit of the Empire State Building's needle. From this extreme height, they unfurled a substantial black flag. The banner displayed the potent message: "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace."

Following the flag display, a significant personal moment unfolded as one of the climbers proposed to the other. Video evidence, captured from various vantage points, suggests one individual knelt to propose, with the pair embracing afterward. The needle, an extension of the building's structure, stands approximately 200 feet above the 102nd floor.

By early afternoon, the climbers had descended, and no one was present at the building's peak. This incident echoes past daring ascents, including that of French climber Alain Robert in 1994, who was promptly arrested. One of the individuals involved in Wednesday's event may be stunt artist Angela Nikolau, known for similar high-altitude exploits documented in the 2015 film 'Skywalkers: A Love Story.'
