Actress Georgia Jay, 34, has decided to leave the ITV soap Emmerdale after a period playing Steph Miligan, the daughter of Ruby and Caleb. Her departure comes as she shifts her life focus towards motherhood. Jay, who gave birth to her daughter Noa earlier this year, had initially planned to return to the program.

Her character, Steph Miligan, was last seen leaving the village after securing a flight to Rome. While Jay had expressed intentions to return, she has now confirmed her decision not to rejoin the full-time soap schedule, prioritizing her current role as a mother.

This change for Jay follows a previous stint on Emmerdale in November 2024. Prior to her role on the soap, she had roles in various films and television series, including 'Lake Placid vs. Anaconda,' 'Giri/Haji,' and 'Silent Witness.'
