Park, who portrays the character of Mindy Chen, recently attended a Netflix event in Philadelphia and shared exclusive details about the new season.
While a recent teaser trailer only showed scenes filmed in Rome, Park revealed that the production team also shot footage in Paris and Venice, hinting at the show's continued global expansion. "This gives you a taste of the tone and what you can be excited for in the first couple of episodes," Park explained, "but there's a lot more. The best is yet to come."
Mindy, Emily's best friend, is set to embark on her own adventures in the new season. In the season 4 finale, Mindy was presented with an opportunity to perform for a crowd in Rome, which led to a job offer that took her away from Paris before she could reunite with Emily in Italy.
