In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, "Emily in Paris" actor Lucas Laviscount, 33, has revealed his eagerness to reunite with acclaimed producer Ryan Murphy. Laviscount, who plays the character of Alfie in the Netflix series, shared that he would "love, love, love, love" the opportunity to work with Murphy again, either on "All's Fair" or "Monster."
Laviscount described the casting process as a "crazy kind of situation," recalling how he auditioned for a role but did not get it. However, he was later offered the part of Earl Grey, and Murphy subsequently called him to say he would write a role specifically for him.
Looking ahead to the upcoming season of "Emily in Paris," Laviscount teased that fans can "expect the unexpected." He was taken aback when he first read the script for the season 5 premiere, hinting at some surprising developments in store for his character and the show's storyline.
Laviscount's co-star, Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen, also shared similar insights, promising that the new season will offer a "fun ride" for viewers, with more filming locations beyond just Rome, including Paris and Venice.
