Emilia Clarke has embraced a new role in the recently unveiled sci-fi romance, 'Next Life.' The British actress, known for her dramatic roles, displays her singing abilities in this film, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday, June 5. Clarke portrays Ivy, a character who navigates two distinct parallel universes, each presenting different romantic possibilities.

Clarke also shared her aspirations for a musical theater career, expressing a strong desire to perform in shows like 'Sweet Charity' or any Bob Fosse-directed musical. This comes after her earlier Broadway debut in 'Breakfast at Tiffany's' in 2013, a role she later described as a "catastrophic failure" due to her inexperience at the time. 'Next Life,' directed by Drake Doremus, also features Édgar Ramírez and Jack Farthing, and its release date is yet to be announced.
