As the CBS series Elsbeth continues the story of The Good Wife's Elsbeth Tascioni, the show's cast members have found romance both on and off-screen. Carrie Preston, who plays the titular character, has been working with her real-life husband Michael Emerson, who joined the cast as Judge Milton Crawford in season 2.
In a February 2025 interview, Preston shared that she and Emerson "feel fortunate" to work together, but they don't treat each other differently on set. "We just showed up and worked on it together like we would with any other guest actor, and that makes it fresh and fun," she said.
Preston and Emerson aren't the only couple to collaborate on Elsbeth. During season 1, Patterson's husband Ruffin Prentiss also made an appearance. As the show prepares to premiere its third season on October 12, 2025, fans can look forward to the return of Wendell Pierce, Daniel K. Isaac, and Ben Levi Ross, in addition to Sarah Steele joining the cast.
