13 Oct
Summary
- Elliot Page to star in Nolan's adaptation of 'The Odyssey'
- Page played architect Ariadne in Nolan's 2010 film 'Inception'
- 'The Odyssey' script reading process was highly secretive

In October 2025, actor Elliot Page opened up about reuniting with acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan for the upcoming epic 'The Odyssey', 15 years after they worked together on the 2010 sci-fi movie 'Inception'. Page, who played the architect Ariadne in 'Inception', shared that the process of reading the script for 'The Odyssey' was exceptionally secretive, just like his experience on the previous film.
Page noted that the experience of reading the 'The Odyssey' script was very similar to when he joined the cast of 'Inception'. He described it as feeling "like an engine" that "takes you in", with the pieces coming together despite the "massiveness of these projects". The actor expressed his excitement at being asked to work with Nolan again, stating that he "loved working on Inception" and was "completely jazzed and excited" to be a part of 'The Odyssey'.
While Page's exact role in 'The Odyssey' remains unconfirmed, the film boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Matt Damon as Odysseus and Tom Holland as his son, Telemachus. Other notable cast members include Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Robert Pattinson, Mia Goth, and Lupita Nyong'o. Nolan's adaptation of the ancient Greek epic is being shot entirely on IMAX film cameras, a first for a commercial feature, and is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 17, 2025.
