Author reveals favorite 'Off Campus' show changes

Best-selling author Elle Kennedy has revealed her preferred alterations from the "Off Campus" book series as adapted for television. During a recent Q&A session, Kennedy expressed her fondness for the show's portrayal of Allie and Dean's relationship, highlighting the deliberate build-up of romantic tension before their eventual hookup, which contrasts with the immediate intimacy depicted in the novels.

Furthermore, Kennedy approved of the creative decision to make the character Justin a musician, stating it felt appropriate for his role. However, Justin will not be featured in the upcoming second season of the show. Showrunner Louisa Levy clarified that actor Josh Heuston is already committed to other projects. Levy expressed hope for Justin's potential return in future seasons, suggesting opportunities to introduce his book partner, Stella.
