Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" has solidified its status as a monumental hit, currently commanding the No. 1 position on the Hot Country Songs chart for 24 weeks. This impressive tenure places the song alongside acclaimed tracks such as Walker Hayes' "Fancy Like" and Florida Georgia Line's "Cruise" as the sixth-longest-running No. 1s in the chart's history.
The song's dominance extends beyond the country music sphere. "Choosin' Texas" is also topping the overall Billboard Hot 100 chart, alongside leading the Streaming Songs, Digital Song Sales, Country Streaming Songs, and Country Digital Song Sales rankings. This multi-chart success highlights the track's broad appeal to a diverse audience.
Looking ahead, "Choosin' Texas" is poised to potentially surpass Morgan Wallen's "Last Night" if it maintains its No. 1 status next week, which would mark the fifth-longest-leading single. While it is unlikely to challenge the all-time record holder "Meant to Be" (50 weeks), Langley's song has already achieved significant milestones.
