Ella Langley Shatters ACM Awards Record

Ella Langley achieved a historic feat at the 2026 ACM Awards, held on Sunday, May 17, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. She took home a record seven awards, shattering the previous record of six wins in one year. This accomplishment eclipses the prior record set by Garth Brooks in 1991.

Langley's wins included female artist of the year, artist-songwriter of the year, music event of the year for her collaboration with Riley Green, single of the year, and song of the year. She earned two of these awards as both artist and producer/songwriter. Her crossover hit 'Choosin' Texas' was recognized with single and song of the year honors.

The talented artist also made history by winning back-to-back ACM Awards for single of the year. Her win this year for 'Choosin' Texas' follows her 2025 win for 'you look like you love me'. Langley is only the fifth artist to achieve this milestone and the fifth woman to win both new female artist of the year and female artist of the year in consecutive years.

Shania Twain hosted the 2026 ACM Awards, which streamed live on Prime Video. The event celebrated achievements in country music, with Langley's record-setting night being a major highlight.
