Ella Bright's BAFTA Nod for Boarding School Drama

Ella Bright achieved a significant career milestone with her starring role as Darrell Rivers in the BBC drama "Malory Towers." This performance, set in a postwar English boarding school, garnered her a BAFTA nomination in 2022.

The series, adapted from Enid Blyton's novels, chronicles the experiences of Darrell and her peers as they face challenges in friendship and academics. Bright's acting portfolio also features appearances in the TV series "Legends" and the stage production of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child."

More recently, Bright made a brief but notable appearance in "The Crown" Season 6. She portrayed a young Kate Middleton in Episode 7, depicted interacting with Prince William and Princess Diana, an imagined encounter given the real-life absence of such a meeting.
