Eli Roth's upcoming horror film, "Ice Cream Man," is scheduled for release on August 7. The movie's concept originated in 2003 when Roth envisioned a dark scenario involving an ice cream truck acting as a Pied Piper, leading children to become serial killers.
The filmmaker, known for his contributions to the horror genre, drew inspiration from films like "The Birds" and "Halloween 3." Roth has clarified that while comparisons to other films featuring killer children exist, "Ice Cream Man" offers a distinct and bloodier experience.
Casting child actors for the gory roles was surprisingly straightforward, as their parents were horror enthusiasts who supported Roth's vision. The young actors reportedly reveled in the experience of working with fake blood and effects.
