Edgar Ramirez is set to star in the second season of HBO's acclaimed crime drama series, "Task." HBO officially confirmed the casting on Wednesday, adding the prolific actor to an already impressive ensemble.
Ramirez will join fellow cast members Mahershala Ali and the series' lead, Mark Ruffalo. Ruffalo portrays Tom Brandis, an FBI agent leading a task force, while Ali will play Eddie Barnes, a DEA agent whose team intersects with Brandis's investigation.
Additional new cast members include Harry Melling and Adam Nagaitis as DEA agents, and Aminah Nieves as FBI agent Nataly Zamora. HBO has not yet announced a specific premiere date for "Task" Season 2.
