Ear's Mysterious 'Rumspringa' Album Drops May 29

The New York electronic duo Ear has announced their new album, Rumspringa, which is scheduled for release on May 29. The album will be released under the A24 Music label. Details such as the tracklist and album artwork remain undisclosed, but the duo has shared that the record's ethos centers around the concept of "choosing life."

This announcement follows the recent release of Ear's new song, "Ne Plus Ultra," earlier this month. The duo, comprised of Jonah Paz and Yaelle Avtan, met in 2024 while attending Bard College. Their musical journey began with a shared vision for a unique sound, described by Avtan as a result of mutual understanding and creative synergy.

Ear's previous work includes their debut album, The Most Dear and the Future, released in 2025, and their first official single, "Nerves," from 2024. Paz also has a solo project named Sacred Holes, established in 2025.
