In a recent episode of "Dancing with the Stars," actress Elaine Hendrix, 54, received constructive criticism from judge Carrie Ann Inaba regarding her tango performance. Inaba noted that Hendrix, while "incredible, powerful, and strong," was being "too independent" in her dancing.
Hendrix, who exclusively shared with Us Weekly that she learned the tango in just 5 days, acknowledged Inaba's feedback. She explained that the tango is an "incredibly intricate dance" that requires juggling various elements, from maintaining connection with her partner to focusing on her own technique.
Hendrix and her partner, Brandon Bersten, 31, danced the tango to "Gnarly" by Katseye during week 3 of the competition. They received a score of 21 out of 30 from the judges, including Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Toniolo.
Despite the challenge, Hendrix and Bersten remain grateful to be safe in the competition. Bersten expressed that they will work on improving their connection and trust, as they have a "great connection" and are simply aiming to "nail the power" in their upcoming dances.
As Disney night approaches on October 7th, Hendrix is savoring every moment of her "incredible roller coaster" experience on "Dancing with the Stars." With the support of her fans and friends, including her "Parent Trap" co-star Lisa Ann Walter, Hendrix is determined to continue her journey on the show, where she believes "anything can happen."
