Dwayne Johnson Debunks AI Baby Rumors
9 May
Summary
- Dwayne Johnson and wife Lauren Hashian are not expecting twins.
- AI-generated photos falsely suggested the couple had welcomed new babies.
- Johnson and Hashian found humor in the artificial intelligence hoax.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson recently reacted with amusement to AI-generated images that falsely suggested he and his wife, Lauren Hashian, had welcomed twins. Hashian initially shared the fabricated news on her Instagram Stories in April, referring to it as a "Sunday laugh" and later posting more AI images depicting the couple with two babies. This incident highlights the increasingly realistic capabilities of artificial intelligence and its potential to spread misinformation.
Despite the viral hoax, Johnson and Hashian are parents to two daughters, 10-year-old Jasmine and 8-year-old Tiana. Johnson also has a daughter, Simone, from his previous marriage, who has followed in his footsteps in the wrestling world as Ava. He frequently emphasizes the importance of his family, sharing moments from daddy-daughter dates to playful interactions.
The fabricated baby news is purely a product of AI technology, not reality for the couple. Johnson and Hashian appear to be taking the situation in stride, finding humor in the sophisticated AI creations. Looking ahead, Johnson is set to star in upcoming films, including the live-action Moana on July 10th, 2026, and Jumanji: Open World on Christmas Day in 2026.
