Funcom has unveiled seven minutes of gameplay for Dune: Awakening, captured on the PlayStation 5 Pro. This demonstration offers an extensive look at the survival game prior to its September 22 console release. Both the PlayStation 5 and PS5 Pro will support two graphical modes: Performance Mode aiming for dynamic 4K at 60 FPS, and Quality Mode targeting dynamic 4K at 30 FPS.
The console iteration will include all content from the PC version's June 2025 debut, plus new features like a single-player mode and adjustable difficulty. Early access for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition buyers begins September 17. Cross-play between PC and consoles is under development but not available at launch.
Launching simultaneously on September 22 is the Filmic Archive DLC, priced at $9.99. This pack introduces outfits inspired by Denis Villeneuve's Dune films, alongside a substantial 73-piece Sardaukar-themed base-building set. The game will be available physically and digitally for PlayStation 5, and also for Xbox Series X|S, including with Xbox Game Pass.
