The final chapter of Denis Villeneuve's "Dune" trilogy, "Dune: Part Three," is set for release this December. Timothée Chalamet, reprising his role as Paul Atreides, shared a first look at his character, hinting at a darker path. Following the events of "Dune: Part Two," Paul has fully embraced his destiny as the messianic Lisan al-Gaib, leading the Fremen in a galactic holy war.
This pursuit of power has visibly taken a toll on Paul, with his appearance frayed and withered, symbolizing his corruption. His actions have also led to his estrangement from Chani, who has returned to exile. The upcoming film will draw inspiration from Frank Herbert's "Dune Messiah," concluding Paul's arc on Arrakis. The cast includes Zendaya, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Florence Pugh, Anya Taylor-Joy, and newcomer Robert Pattinson.
