'Dude' Dominates Box Office, Crosses ₹64 Crore in 10 Days

Pradeep Ranganathan's latest film 'Dude' has been enjoying a successful box office run, crossing the ₹64 crore mark within just ten days of its release. The film, which opened to strong word of mouth, has managed to maintain a steady hold through its second weekend.
According to early estimates, 'Dude' earned ₹3.25 crore on its tenth day across languages, taking its total India net collection to ₹64.90 crore. The film's week-one performance was particularly impressive, grossing ₹56.5 crore, with ₹43.65 crore coming from the Tamil version and ₹12.85 crore from the Telugu version.
Despite a slight drop on its second Friday, 'Dude' bounced back over the weekend, showing a 57.5% jump on Saturday. Tamil Nadu continues to be the film's strongest market, with the movie registering an overall Tamil occupancy of 33.95% on Sunday, October 26. The evening shows even peaked at nearly 46% occupancy.
Directed by Keerthiswaran, 'Dude' features Pradeep Ranganathan alongside Mamitha Baiju, R. Sarathkumar, Rohini, and Hridhu Haroon. The film has been widely praised for finding the right balance between mass appeal and social consciousness, with debut composer Sai Abhyankkar's impactful score also receiving acclaim.
