Production has concluded on the supernatural horror-comedy "Dubbels," filmed in the scenic Catskill Mountains of New York. The ensemble cast includes Dean Norris of "Breaking Bad" fame and Jessica Garza from "The Purge" series, alongside Marié Botha and Zak Corrigan. The film marks writer-director Paul Marashlian's feature debut.
The narrative centers on an environmental engineering firm tasked with assessing an abandoned ski resort situated over mountain springs. The firm's leader, Pete, and his team are pressured by the enigmatic landowner and his daughter to compromise their work. Unbeknownst to them, the springs are cursed, leading Pete's clairvoyant wife, Gwen, on a perilous mission.
Set for completion and festival release in spring 2026, "Dubbels" boasts a talented crew, including special FX makeup artist Beatrice Sniper and stunt coordinator Manny Siverio.
