The band Dry Cleaning has released their latest single, "Sliced By a Fingernail," complete with an unsettling visualizer. This new track features a dancer enacting the lyrics quite literally, spinning their head on a washing machine.
The single's lyrical themes were sparked by Jooyoung Kim's picture book, "Welcome to My Life," which humorously portrays a dog overwhelmed by attention. Frontperson Florence Shaw explained that the lyrics delve into feelings of being "sliced up" and a desire for anonymity.
In conjunction with the single's release, Dry Cleaning has also announced additional tour dates. These new shows will take place in Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, further expanding their international tour in support of their third album, "Secret Love."
