15 Sep
Summary
- Eight strangers trapped in an elevator face a growing nightmare.
- Film is the follow-up to director's successful supernatural Western.
- World premiere at the Oldenburg Film Festival from Sept. 16-20.

The Oldenburg Film Festival will host the world premiere of Ned Crawley's latest film, "Drop Dead." This high-concept horror thriller centers on eight strangers trapped in a freight elevator, facing a nightmarish, life-or-death situation. The film explores a sinister, possibly biblical, nightmare unfolding within the confined space.
"Drop Dead" marks a shift for Crawley, moving away from sweeping landscapes to focus on performance within a claustrophobic setting. This project follows his previous success, the supernatural Western "Killing Faith" (2025), which achieved significant streaming popularity. The 33rd Oldenburg International Film Festival is scheduled to run from September 16-20, 2026.
