Jaideep Ahlawat Joins Drishyam 3 as New Investigator

Jaideep Ahlawat is confirmed to join the Drishyam franchise as SP Crime Branch Rajveer Singh Tomar in Drishyam: The Conclusion. This marks a new investigative character for Ahlawat, separate from any previous roles in the series. Ahlawat's portrayal will present a formidable challenge to Ajay Devgn's character, Vijay Salgaonkar, as Tomar is determined to reopen the Salgaonkar family's case after Vijay's arrest.

Director Abhishek Pathak clarified that Ahlawat's character is a completely new creation and not a replacement for Akshaye Khanna, who played a different role in Drishyam 2. Pathak emphasized that Ahlawat's character offers a unique dynamic, adding a detached and unbiased investigator to the narrative, which will further complicate matters for Vijay and his family.

The film, Drishyam: The Conclusion, is slated for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026. The makers have begun unveiling character first looks, with Ahlawat's intense depiction as Rajveer Singh Tomar generating considerable fan excitement and anticipation for the conclusion of the beloved franchise.
