Summary
- Prime Video asserts exclusive digital rights for Drishyam 3.
- Aashirvad Cinemas loses rights to license the film digitally.
- Legal action threatened against unauthorized digital distribution.

Prime Video has publicly asserted its exclusive digital rights to the highly anticipated Malayalam film, Drishyam 3, starring Mohanlal. The streaming platform issued a formal notice warning all parties against engaging in any digital distribution of the movie without their explicit authorization.
According to the declaration, Prime Video acquired these comprehensive digital rights, which include SVOD, TVOD, AVOD, FVOD, and EST, through a valid agreement with the film's production house, Aashirvad Cinemas. This agreement effectively transfers all digital licensing capabilities away from Aashirvad Cinemas.
The platform made it clear that neither Aashirvad Cinemas nor any of its assignees or licensees possess the authority to sell, license, or create third-party interests concerning Drishyam 3's digital rights. Transactions that violate this exclusivity will hold the involved parties liable for their own risks and costs.
Prime Video has reserved its right to pursue legal action, including seeking injunctive relief and damages, against any entity that infringes upon its exclusive rights or interferes with its contractual relationship for Drishyam 3. The film is slated for a worldwide release on May 21.
