Starkey Teases 'Amazing' American Psycho Script

Drew Starkey has remained tight-lipped about speculation surrounding his potential role as Patrick Bateman in the upcoming adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis's 'American Psycho.'
Starkey, who recently starred in Guadagnino's film 'Queer,' told GQ that while he has "no comment" on the role, he has read the script, calling it "amazing."
This new film adaptation, from director Luca Guadagnino and writer Scott Z. Burns, is expected to offer a fresh take on the 1991 novel.
Author Bret Easton Ellis has indicated that the upcoming Lionsgate project will be "completely different" from the well-known 2000 film starring Christian Bale.
Ellis's 2023 novel, 'The Shards,' is also in development for a series adaptation, currently airing on FX and Hulu on Thursdays at 9pm ET.
