Drake Makes Billboard History Again
27 May
Summary
- Drake has 12 albums charting simultaneously on Billboard 200.
- He is the first living soloist with this achievement since 1963.
- Prince and The Beatles previously achieved similar feats.

As of the chart dated May 30, 2026, Drake has achieved a historic feat by placing 12 albums simultaneously on the Billboard 200 chart. This accomplishment makes him the first living solo artist to reach this milestone since the Billboard 200 combined its mono and stereo charts in August 1963.
In the period from August 1963 to the present, only Prince and The Beatles have managed to have at least 12 albums charting at the same time. Prince achieved this in the weeks following his death in May 2016, holding 13 and a record 19 titles. The Beatles accomplished similar chart dominance in 2010 and 2014, with 14 and 13 albums respectively.
The Billboard 200 chart measures album popularity in the U.S. through a consumption model that includes album sales, track equivalent albums (TEAs), and streaming equivalent albums (SEAs). This methodology, which began incorporating streaming data at the end of 2014, has made it easier for albums to remain on the chart for extended periods compared to previous decades when it was primarily a sales-based ranking.
