A groundbreaking €1 billion entertainment project, Dracula Land, is poised to open in Romania, offering an immersive experience centered around Bram Stoker's iconic vampire. Located near Bucharest, this sprawling theme park will feature six distinct themed lands and more than 40 attractions, all utilizing advanced technology. The park is projected to launch between 2026 and 2027, promising a significant boost to the country's tourism sector.
Dracula Land's design includes diverse zones like the Moonlit District, Family Kingdom, and a dedicated Transylvania section. The centerpiece will be Dracula's castle, complete with a rollercoaster, maze, and a high-speed catacomb ride. Beyond rides, the park boasts a large arena for events, shopping, dining, and a state-of-the-art esports venue.
This ambitious development, spearheaded by theme park veteran Chris Lange and real estate founder Dragoș Dobrescu, aims to be a national landmark for Romania. It is anticipated to generate over 5,000 jobs and attract approximately three million visitors in its initial phase, establishing Romania as a key player on the global tourism map.
