Universal Pictures has cast Myles Bullock to embody Dr. Dre in the forthcoming biopic titled 'Snoop.' Bullock, who has appeared in 'BMF' and 'Criminal Minds,' confirmed his role on Instagram. Jonathan Daviss, known for 'Outer Banks,' will portray the iconic West Coast rapper.
The film is slated for release in U.S. theaters on August 6, 2027. Director Craig Brewer and producer Brian Grazer are attached to the project. Daviss hinted that the movie will uncover surprising aspects of Snoop Dogg's story that are not widely known.
Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have a long-standing musical partnership, beginning around 1992 when Snoop Dogg was featured on Dre's 'The Chronic.' Their collaborations include hit songs like "Nuthin' But a 'G' Thang."
