A unique property in Solvang, California, once owned by country music legend Dolly Parton, is now available for purchase at $1.95 million. The current owner, Cris Lapp, hopes a devoted fan will acquire the home, which Parton used as a private weekend getaway for a decade, starting in 2004.
The 1920s-built estate comprises three distinct living spaces: a three-bedroom, two-bathroom front house, another three-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at the rear, and a one-bedroom unit with a three-quarter bath. Each dwelling includes its own private patio.
Inside, remnants of Parton's ownership are evident, including a stained glass window featuring her name and butterflies, a wig room, a Dollywood-inspired birdhouse chapel, and wooden tulips. These elements contribute to the home's charm and historical significance.
Separately, Parton recently addressed concerns regarding her health, which led to postponements of her Las Vegas residency shows. She assured fans that her health issues were not critical, explaining they stemmed from neglecting self-care during her husband's extended illness and subsequent passing.
Parton shared that she is responding well to treatments for immune and digestive system issues. However, she is not yet ready for stage performances due to side effects like dizziness from her medications, which she humorously noted would make performing in heels and elaborate outfits challenging.
