This fall, the Country Music Association will present a two-hour television special honoring the legacy of Dolly Parton.
"CMA Presents I Will Always Love You: A Celebration of Dolly Parton" will air live on ABC and Disney+ on Wednesday, October 21. The event aims to celebrate Parton's multifaceted career as a singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and entertainer.
Beyond her entertainment achievements, the special will highlight her significant philanthropic contributions and their lasting impact on Tennessee and American history.
Filmed at Belmont University's Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, the tribute will feature performances, archival footage, and personal stories. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Dolly Parton's Imagination Library, an organization dedicated to providing free books to children monthly.
Robert Deaton is serving as executive producer for the special, with CMA and Belmont University as partners.
