Doja Cat Drops Out of Austin City Limits 2025, The Killers Take the Stage

In a surprising turn of events, Doja Cat has announced that she will not be performing at the upcoming Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2025. The singer, who was originally slated to headline the event, revealed that her commitment to finalizing her new album, "Vie," and the accompanying campaign has made it impossible for her to deliver the show that fans deserve within the festival's timeframe.

"Unfortunately, I will not be performing at Austin City Limits this year," Doja Cat wrote in an Instagram Story on August 29th, just two months before the festival's start. "When I made the commitment, I didn't know exactly when 'Vie' would be released. I've been working on finalizing the album, making videos, and taking the time to put together an album campaign that I'm really excited about, and it's become clear to me that I cannot give you guys the show you deserve within this time frame."

In a swift move, the organizers of Austin City Limits have announced that The Killers will be taking over Doja Cat's headlining slots, performing on both weekends of the festival. The two-weekend event is set to take place from October 3-5 and October 10-12 in Zilker Park, Austin, Texas.
