Influencer Madeleine White and her husband, Andrew Fedyk, are grieving the loss of their two-year-old Bernese Mountain dog, Dunkin. The couple had left their dog with a Los Angeles training studio for approximately four weeks, paying $10,000 for boarding and training services. This was intended to help prepare the dog for the arrival of their newborn baby.
Tragically, Dunkin passed away within 48 hours of being with the trainer. Fedyk reported that the dog was taken to a park during an extreme heatwave and showed signs of heat exhaustion. The dog reportedly died en route to a boarding facility, without receiving veterinary care.
White and Fedyk expressed their devastation, urging others to be cautious about where they board their pets. The couple was on vacation when they received the call about Dunkin's death. They also have another Bernese Mountain dog named Poutine, and recently welcomed their first child, Juliette.
