The upcoming Broadway adaptation of Sidney Lumet's classic film "Dog Day Afternoon" has announced three new cast members. John Ortiz, Jessica Hecht, and Spencer Garrett will join Jon Bernthal and Ebon Moss-Bachrach in the production.

John Ortiz has been cast as Detective Ferrara. His previous work includes roles in "Bad Monkey," "Luck," and films like "Silver Linings Playbook" and "American Gangster."
