The critically acclaimed medical drama 'Doc' is set to welcome four new actors to its recurring cast for its upcoming third season. Barrett Carnahan, Raffa Virago, Cecilia Lee, and Kolton Stewart are joining the ensemble. The series, which draws inspiration from a true story and an Italian format, centers on Dr. Amy Larsen, a brilliant physician rebuilding her life after a severe car crash caused significant memory loss.
These new additions will portray distinct intern characters. Carnahan plays Graham Barker, a charming but entitled individual aiming to surpass his status as a wealthy donor's son. Virago takes on the role of Nikki De Silva, an overachieving, sharp, and quick-witted intern. Cecilia Lee will play Ruth Chen, an empathetic and kind intern who supports others, though she can become flustered when overwhelmed. Kolton Stewart is cast as Kyle Ferguson, the youngest intern, who is brilliant, humble, and guileless, adjusting to hospital life after being homeschooled.
The third season will also feature the return of Omar Metwally, Amirah Vann, Jon Ecker, Anya Banerjee, and Patrick Walker. Blair Underwood joins as a new series regular, adding further depth to the cast. Barbie Kligman and Hank Steinberg are co-showrunners and executive producers for the season, with other executive producers including Erwin Stoff, Russell Fine, John Weber, and Frank Siracusa.
