The New York City Medical Examiner has officially determined the cause of death for Adam Goldstein, famously known as DJ AM.
The M.E.'s report indicates that the cause was acute intoxication, stemming from the combined effects of multiple substances. These included cocaine, hydrocodone (Vicodin), oxycodone, and sedative medications such as Ativan, Klonopin, and Xanax, along with Benadryl.
Levamisole, a substance often used to cut cocaine, was also identified. Consequently, the manner of death has been classified as an accident attributed to substance abuse, concluding the investigation into the circumstances surrounding his passing.
