To celebrate its 100th anniversary, Disney presents "Wish," an original animated feature film. The story centers on Asha, a 17-year-old who stands against the malevolent sorcerer king, Magnifico. Though Magnifico wields immense power, he cannot control the ripple effect of Asha's single wish upon a star.
This act of defiance inspires her community, leading to a full-scale rebellion that aims to reclaim what Magnifico has taken. The film artfully blends a new adventure with numerous Easter eggs from Disney's extensive cinematic history, from early classics to Renaissance hits.
"Wish" explores the profound impact one individual's courage can have on an entire kingdom. It serves as a compelling narrative about hope, community, and the enduring power of dreams.
