Summary
- Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay removal begins January 12, 2026.
- The popular overlay closes after the Disneyland Christmas celebration ends.

Disneyland has announced the closure dates for its iconic Haunted Mansion ride, which will temporarily shut down to remove the seasonal Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay. The overlay, a fan-favorite inspired by Tim Burton's "The Nightmare Before Christmas," will be taken down on January 12, 2026.
This closure follows the end of the park's official Christmas celebration on January 7. While the Haunted Mansion Holiday typically stays open a few days past the holidays, this specific date marks the end of its run for the season, allowing crews to remove the extensive decorations.
Visitors should note that this is one of several planned refurbishments at Disneyland. Other attractions, including The Incredicoaster and Grizzly River Run, are also scheduled for maintenance, ensuring various areas of the park receive necessary updates.
