23 Aug
Summary
- Disney+ faces a slump in original fall content for 2026.
- New Marvel series 'VisionQuest' is a notable fall 2026 debut.
- An untitled 'Frozen' short film is slated for fall 2026 release.
Disney+ is slated to offer a limited amount of new original content for Fall 2026. While several shows are returning with new seasons, the streamer faces a slump in entirely new series and specials premiering during the autumn months.
Despite the overall scarcity, a few significant releases are scheduled. These include "VisionQuest," a new series set within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and an untitled short film from the "Frozen" franchise. The "Frozen" short is anticipated around the time of the "Frozen" fan fest in October 2026.
