2 Aug
Summary
- Contracts were signed for a secret project that has now been canceled.
- Writer's room and production schedules were set to begin soon.
- No financial explanation was given for the sudden reversal.
A secret project, for which contracts had been signed and schedules cleared, has been unexpectedly canceled by Disney and Marvel. This decision marks a significant reversal, as the project was previously deemed viable. The writer's room was scheduled to commence this month, with production preparations beginning early in the upcoming year.
Despite the advanced planning, including the writing of the first episode and a detailed season outline, an internal decision was made that the project no longer made sense for the companies. The individual involved expressed confidence that the planned season would have surpassed the success of its predecessor. No specific financial explanation was offered for this abrupt change of plans.
