Disha Patani: 10 Years, Bold New Roles Ahead

Disha Patani is celebrating a significant milestone, marking 10 years in the Hindi film industry. She reflects on her journey, noting her biggest transformation has been personal, leading to a more profound understanding of her acting craft. Patani aspires to move beyond predictable roles and explore characters with depth and complexity, steering clear of being defined by a singular image or genre.

Her early career, starting with "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story," was a period of rapid learning about filmmaking and character portrayal. Now, with greater comfort in her instincts, she emphasizes the ongoing importance of learning and consistent effort. Patani is actively seeking psychological dramas, thrillers, and action films that prioritize storytelling and character over glamour.

Looking forward to her second decade, Patani plans to collaborate with filmmakers from various backgrounds and potentially work in different languages. This experimental approach aims to foster continuous growth as a performer. Her career expansion also includes an upcoming Hollywood debut in the supernatural action-thriller "The Portal of Force."
