Director R.S. Durai Senthilkumar is preparing for the release of his upcoming film 'Leader,' featuring Legend Saravanan. The film's music and action teaser launch event recently took place in Chennai.
During promotional events, Durai Senthilkumar shared reflections on his filmmaking journey. He confessed to regrets about certain creative decisions in past films. For 'Kaaki Sattai,' he stated the original serious script was altered, and the addition of a comedic character influenced by Sivakarthikeyan's popular style was a decision he was not satisfied with.
The director also admitted that the climax of 'Kodi,' starring Dhanush, could have been improved. He noted that while filming the double-action scenes for 'Kodi' was completed quickly due to Dhanush's availability, he wished he had more time to refine the climax. He also mentioned that the commercial direction and script alterations in 'Pattaas' were choices he felt he could have avoided.
Durai Senthilkumar also briefly touched upon 'Garudan,' indicating that the tight 70-day schedule allowed limited room for corrections, though he was pleased with the outcome. His current focus remains on 'Leader,' which he considers a significant project, generating anticipation with its action-packed teaser.
