22 Oct
Summary
- Diljit Dosanjh warns fans about fake volunteer recruitment for his Aura India Tour.
- Scammers are collecting personal data, potentially selling it for profit.
- One of his Delhi concerts is denied permission due to security concerns.
Singer Diljit Dosanjh is set to launch his Aura India Tour on October 30 in New Delhi. However, his team has detected a rise in fraudulent online posts soliciting volunteers for the event. Dosanjh has publicly advised his fans against sharing any personal details like names or phone numbers with these unofficial pages, emphasizing the risk of data misuse and sale.
This warning comes as Dosanjh's tour, which has already seen him perform in Europe and America this year, faces additional hurdles. His concert planned for Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on October 30 has reportedly been denied permission by the Delhi Police due to security reasons. Further complicating matters, a case has been filed against social media influencer Aamir Shaukeen in connection with these issues.
