- Dileep credited his fans' prayers and support for his resilience.
Actor Dileep recently expressed his deep appreciation for his fans' unwavering support over the past ten years, a period during which he felt silenced and unable to share his side of the story. He stated that he was incarcerated for a crime he knew nothing about and felt his hands and legs were tied, preventing him from speaking his truth.
Dileep attributed his ability to persevere to the immense love and prayers he received from his fan base and those who followed his work. He highlighted how people of all ages, from children to elders, prayed for him, describing their support as the force that held him up during a tumultuous time.
His upcoming film, 'Neekkam,' directed by Jagan Shaji Kailas, is described as a psychological mind game exploring an emotional father-daughter relationship. This comes after his previous film, 'Bha.Bha.Ba.', received mixed reviews. Notably, a Kerala trial court acquitted Dileep of criminal conspiracy in December 2025 in relation to the 2017 actress abduction and sexual assault case, while convicting six other individuals.
