Directed by Arun Gopy and written by Udaykrishnan, 'Bandra' also signifies Tamannaah Bhatia's foray into Malayalam cinema. She stars opposite Dileep, who portrays a businessman named Aala. The supporting cast includes notable actors such as Dino Morea and Mamta Mohandas.
The narrative unfolds across two timelines, beginning with an investigation into the suicide of a 1990s Bollywood actress, Thara Janki. The story then reverts to Thara's arrival in Kerala and her seeking refuge with Aala, who is captivated by her.
Thara, seeking to escape a controlling producer and her adoptive mother, finds solace with Aala. However, their quiet stay is disrupted when she is located and taken back to Mumbai. Post-interval, the film delves into romance, emotional drama, and gangster elements, connecting Thara's struggles with Aala's life.
