Digital Sword Hires Ex-Tubi Exec Ashla Soter

Digital Sword has welcomed Ashla Soter, formerly of Tubi, as its new Executive Producer and Senior Vice President of Production. This strategic hire comes a month after Soter's departure from the streaming service.

In her new capacity, Soter will be responsible for overseeing the entire production slate at Digital Sword. She will collaborate with various studios, brands, and agencies, leveraging the expertise of the company's global editorial, VFX, and finishing teams.

Soter brings significant experience from her three-year tenure at Tubi, where she was the first production hire for their originals initiative. There, she managed the production of over 150 scripted and unscripted titles. She also continues to produce select projects independently.

Digital Sword, founded by Cal Laird and Joan Pabon, is a global creative talent and post-production studio. The company specializes in editorial, color, VFX, and finishing services for a diverse clientele including brands, agencies, studios, and artists.
